Harvey Nichols is proud to unveil the new Absolut Limited Edition: a highly anticipated design with a fiercely powerful message.
Absolut travelled to racist and anti-LGBTQ protests to collect hate and intolerance-filled signs. They then carefully extracted the ink and repurposed it to paint a brighter message on these bottles and one that radiates positivity: LOVE. The new release called Absolut Drop proves that everyone has the power to turn hate into love.
The limited edition has been released through Harvey Nichols in two highly collectable colours: hot pink and mint green. While the rest of the world will receive bottles with white hearts painted on them the UK’s Absolut Drop will be taking pride in diversity and sporting a rainbow heart making them even more collectable.
It was 1879 when production began at a red brick distillery in the Swedish village of Åhus. But when Absolut launched into the global market a century later it redefined vodka. There’s now no brand in the spirit world more synonymous with nightlife love and good times. Carbon neutral and big on recycling Absolut is made using water pulled up from a deep well beneath the village and winter wheat that spends much of the year buried in snow. The result is a rich and smooth vodka with a mellow complexity of dried fruit rich tea biscuits Shredded wheat cereal and cracked black pepper.
