Winner of a Gold Medal at the Spirits Business No and Low Masters 2021, Abstinence Blood Orange Apéritif provides all the bittersweet richness and complexity of flavour you’d get with classic Italian-style bitter, but without the alcohol. It’s crafted from an infusion of natural botanicals, including lots of blood orange, cinchona bark, all spice, clove and, for a unique South African touch, African wormwood. Combine it with Harvey Nichols Alcohol-Free Sparkling Chardonnay to create an abstemious spritz, or mix it into a low-ABV cocktail, such as a Negroni. To say it contains no alcohol, this vegan-friendly tipple is super punchy, with powerful orange, bitter peels and a warming pepperiness.
The team at Abstinence creates alcohol-free spirits inspired by the biodiversity of the Cape Floral Region in the Western Cape, South Africa.
