Grown on venerable vines by one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s cardinal talents Roger Sabon this Grenache-based sophisticate has all the elegance and je ne sais quoi of the South of France in a glass. Perfect with grilled meat and your most chic outfit.

This exquisite red is a blend of Grenache Syrah and Cinsault grapes from 50-year-old vines which are fermented and then matured in oak for 18 months. Part of our limited-edition Premium Range it was created exclusively for Harvey Nichols by an esteemed producer on top form who has been described by Robert Parker as “one of the more intellectual vignerons in Châteauneuf-du-Pape”. The Sabon family have a long and illustrious history in the region which can be traced back to 1540 – that’s even longer than the legendary Beaucastel. Roger Sabon took over the 18-hectare estate in 1952 and the property is now in the hands of the talented Didier Négron who is responsible for some of the finest Châteauneufs being produced today.

A juicy and fruit-forward Rhône red that carries its considerable stature with elegant ease. Expect complex concentrated and deeply charming notes of smoky brambles black cherries plum crumble herbes de Provence toasted oak red wine gravy and creamy Flat White coffee all finished off with a twist of pepper. The vegan-friendly Harvey Nichols Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a fine choice for Sunday roasts tagines cauliflower rubbed in smoked paprika and roasted whole slow-cooked stews and Turkish grills. But be quick because we only created a limited run of 2 400 bottles.
