Lovingly created using a special strain of yeast limestone-filtered water and a unique mash bill Bulleit Bourbon is bold and spicy with notes of sweet oak maple syrup toffee apple dried apricots butterscotch candied orange peel tobacco and a grating of nutmeg. A winner of many medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition over the years this Kentucky Straight Bourbon can be sipped neat or mixed into a plethora of cocktails particularly a Whiskey Sour or Old Fashioned. Thoroughly deserving of its stellar reputation.
Crafted from a blend of corn rye and malted barley this is smooth and comforting to sip carrying its new ABV with aplomb. But that should come as no surprise the Bulleit Distilling Company is a world-renowned brand that traces its long lineage from August Bulleit a Louisville tavern keeper who created his first Bourbon in the mid-1800s to Thomas E. Bulleit Jr. who resurrected the family recipe in the 1980s.
