“Fleshy but precise, it's elegant and charming, with a seamless profile and considerable immediate appeal.” – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

The Deutz house style is one of elegance and finesse, and the wines have a food-friendly and wine-like character that heightens with bottle age. This is abundantly evident in the flagship wine, the Deutz Brut Classic Champagne.

A blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay that’s heavier on the Pinots, Deutz Brut Classic is matured on the lees for at least three years before disgorgement, which is going well above and beyond the call of duty. Silky with notes of floral honey, baked apple, poached pear, brioche, lemon curd, almond croissant, apricot pastries and smoke, it’s utterly gorgeous. As the name suggests, this is an absolute classic.

Champagne Deutz was founded by a pair of Germans – William Deutz and Pierre Glederman – in 1838, but now falls under the stewardship of the Rouzauds – one of the wine world’s most powerful families and owners of Champagne Louis Roederer, Domaines Ott, Ramos Pinto, Maison Delas and of course Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande. Possibly the most beautiful property in all of Champagne and “one of my absolute favourite houses” according to renowned Champagne expert Richard Juhlin. Rumour has it that there’s always a chilled bottle of Deutz waiting for her wherever Madonna goes.

This beautifully arranged Brut Classic NV with Two Flutes gift pack is sure to please even the most discerning Champagne lovers.
