In 1942, Don Julio González-Frausto Estrada established roots in Atotonilco El Alto when he acquired his distillery “La Primavera”. He always believed that Reposado was Tequila at its finest. This limited-edition Tequila, made in honour of him and the distillery he founded, takes Don Julio Reposado and finishes it in European casks that previously held wine infused with macerated orange peels. This creates a silky, sophisticated and sun-kissed Tequila that delivers honey, agave syrup, citrus and spice. A flawless and fruity new favourite to pour as the sun sets on another perfect day.
Sip Primavera neat alongside the Yucatán-speciality cochinita pibil, mandarin orange salsa with blue corn chips, tacos al pastor to bring out the pineapple fruitiness, or a summery jicama and orange salad. Alternatively, mix it into a Palmavera cocktail by shaking 45ml of Primavera, 15ml of agave nectar and a dash of orange bitters, pouring it over ice and topping with 30ml of sparkling water and a slice of fresh orange. Think of this as Mexico’s answer to the Aperol Spritz.

Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, it’s ‘rested’ in American oak barrels for eight months, which is four times longer than the industry standard, and that’s before the second maturation in those rare wine barrels.
