Prized plant-based provenance and an absolute masterclass in distillation; Kew Gin is a cracking new collaboration between the Royal Botanic Gardens and East London Liquor Company. Considering the former is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and world authority on botanicals and the latter is the creator of some of London’s most exciting spirits we knew that this was going to be something special.
An ode to the plants and pollinators that are so important for gin production but also for the planet Kew Gin was crafted using juniper sweet orange peel Douglas fir lavender coriander seed angelica root fennel seed and liquorice root. Many of the key botanicals come from the Gardens making it the true flavour of Kew. Floral notes from the lavender buzz around the sun-kissed citrus and the gloriously bright pine flavours from the juniper and the Douglas fir. Consider pairing it with Harvey Nichols Orange & Lavender Tonic Water for a super-summery G&T mixing it into a seriously complex Negroni or have a play with classic cocktails.
