Edinburgh Beer Factory is family-run independently owned and heavily inspired by Scotland’s capital and the ethos of artist Sir Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi. Their modus operandi is to inject the city’s inventiveness open-mindedness and playfulness into beer. Utilising the flow of talented brewers from Heriot-Watt University's Brewing and Distilling courses they are doing just that.

Born in Leith and educated in Edinburgh and London Sir Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi was a pioneer of pop art. His colourful mosaics line the walls of Tottenham Court Road tube station his iconic sculptures stand proudly outside the British Library to the west of the Princess of Wales Conservatory in Kew Gardens and at Shad Thames overlooking Tower Bridge and the Tate Galleries – among many others – are home to hundreds of his collages screenprints writings and sculptures.
