Edinburgh is full of great places to drink but one of our favourites is a subterranean cocktail bar called Bramble hidden away beneath a tailoring and dry-cleaning business on Queen Street. The city’s gin scene wouldn’t be what it is without this charming little drinkery. We’d like to think that Bramble Bar decorated with awards from the likes of The World’s 50 Best Bars and many more was the inspiration behind Edinburgh Gin’s Bramble & Honey Gin. But maybe we’re deluding ourselves and are just craving a trip to Scotland.
Built on their piney and juniper-driven Classic London Dry Gin they’ve layered in dark fruit notes and ever-so-slightly-floral honey. Delivering a satisfying hit of blackberry Bramble & Honey Gin can be sipped neat alongside a cheeseboard (I.J. Mellis if we’re keeping it local) topped with tonic water or added to mulled wine in the winter. And if you’re itching to visit Edinburgh again it’s brimming with sweet nostalgia.
