Crisma Barbados Rum Cream Liqueur is quite simply the stuff of dreams. Whipped up by the maestros at Foursquare Distillery using a blend of mature Barbadian rum cream vanilla and coffee it tastes like adding a tot of rum to the creamiest vanilla latte and then sucking it up through a Crunchie bar. Sip Crisma neat pour it over ice cream or we highly recommend adding it to hot chocolate or a post-prandial coffee. Did we just create the ultimate Bajan coffee?
The family-run Foursquare Distillery can be found on the tropical paradise of Barbados also the birthplace of rum. Headed up by Master Distiller Richard Seale it has been described by The Telegraph newspaper as “the world’s best rum distillery”. However considering the procession of incredible spirits marching out of its doors – think Foursquare’s Exceptional Cask Selection R.L. Seale’s Doorly’s Rum Sixty Six Velvet Falernum and countless collaborations with Velier’s Luca Gargano and their friends the Guardians of Rum – we think there’s ample evidence to support dropping the “rum” from The Telegraph’s statement and upgrading this to simply “the world’s best distillery”.
