The talented winemaker Jorge Moreira sources the traditional Port grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz from the estate’s oldest vineyards, located high above the Douro Valley. Vinified gently and traditionally, the resulting wine displays notes of dark cherry fruit, brambles, chocolate, coffee and spice, supported by supple tannins and a touch of oak. Fans of Malbec looking for something a little closer to home will find much to love here.
