How do I book a Gift Experience at my chosen store?
When purchasing a Gift Experience online, a Gift Experience voucher will be dispatched by post. This contains all of the information needed for the recipient to make a booking at the relevant Harvey Nichols store.
The Gift Experience voucher can be sent to you (as the purchaser) or it can be shipped directly to the gift recipient, by adding their address as the delivery contact at the checkout.

Please include the name of your Gift Experience and quote the order number from your Harvey Nichols order acknowledgement email on all correspondence.
Where can I find the order number to make my booking?
The order number can be found at the top of the Harvey Nichols order acknowledgement email, which the purchaser will have received shortly after buying the Gift Experience at harveynichols.com. It is also included on the Gift Experience voucher, which will be dispatched after purchase.
Can I book a Gift Experience at any Harvey Nichols store?
Our Gift Experiences are available at selected Harvey Nichols stores. Gift Experiences are purchased for a specific store and can only be redeemed in that particular location. For information on the Gift Experiences available in each region, click here.
How long will a Gift Experience be valid?
All Gift Experiences are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
If I change my mind, can I exchange the Gift Experience for something else?
No. All Gift Experiences are non-returnable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash alternatives, in whole or in part.
If a Gift Experiences includes a monetary value to spend, will I receive a Gift Card in the post?
When purchasing a Gift Experience online, a Gift Experience voucher will be dispatched by post. This contains all of the information needed for the recipient to make a booking at the relevant Harvey Nichols store. You will not receive a Harvey Nichols Gift Card.
When purchasing in-store, any redeemable value credited to the Gift Experience, will be deducted from the total spend.
Do I need to redeem the full value of the Gift Experience on the day?
Yes. For Gift Experiences that include a monetary value to spend, that amount must be redeemed in full instore on the day of the Gift Experience appointment and cannot be redeemed over multiple visits. Any amount not redeemed during the appointment will be forfeited.
Will I receive REWARDS points when I purchase a Gift Experience?
Yes, you can earn REWARDS points when you purchase a Gift Experience online. However, the gift recipient will not earn points on the transactions or parts of transactions paid for by Harvey Nichols Gift Experiences voucher.
Can I make the Gift Experience extra special by adding additional items?
Yes, our instore teams are on hand to assist you in making your Gift Experience extra special and can assist with adding any additional items, such as hospitality packages, dinner reservations and Harvey Nichols Gift Cards. Any additional items not included in the Gift Experience, will be charged for separately. What should I do if the gift recipient has special dietary requirements?
Should you have any food allergies or special dietary requirements, please inform the store when booking your Gift Experience visit. For hospitality Gift Experiences (wine tasting, dining and cocktail masterclasses), please note that allergens are used in all of our premises and all beverages may contain sulphites. Wines may contain sulphites, eggs, fish, crustaceans, milk or gluten used as a fining agent. Please inform the store of any allergies or special dietary requirements when you make your booking.

Do you have a refer-a-friend scheme and how does it work?
Yes, we have a refer-a-friend scheme. If you like us enough to recommend us we’ll happily give your friends an introductory discount and give you a thank you reward. What we offer changes over time so please click here to go to the current refer-a-friend scheme.
I’ve been referred to you by a friend and they said I just need to enter their name to get a discount that they offered me. Where can I do this?
Our refer-a-friend scheme enables you to share with your friends using your name. This means that you can simply tell your friends to come to our site and enter your name and they’ll be given their discount code. All they need to do to get their reward is to click on the link asking if they've "Been referred by a friend?" in the checkout and enter your name.
I entered my friend’s name and it didn’t work.
This could be for several reasons. It could be because your friend never registered for the refer-a-friend scheme. It could be because you’re entering a nick name (that the system doesn’t recognise) rather than the name they registered with or it could be because there are more than one person with the same name signed up. If this is the case then you just need to follow the instructions to enter their email address. If you don’t know their email address then please ask them for it and come back to us.
I’ve referred someone. How do I know whether they’ve bought anything and whether I’ve got a reward?
We will email you as soon as any rewards are due. The email will have come from as Mention Me, the company who manage our refer-a-friend scheme for us. It is also possible to see the status of your referrals on your dashboard. You can find a link to your sharing dashboard at the bottom of the email you receive when you sign up for our refer-a-friend scheme.
I sent my friend to you but I never got a reward?
First, are you sure that they bought from us as you’ll only get the reward after they’ve bought from us. Second, are you sure they’re a new customer as the rewards are only valid if they’re a new customer. If you think they are, then please get in touch with us so we can help.
I remember seeing an offer but can’t remember what it was or how to share it.
You can just tell your friend to come to the site and enter your name in the checkout in order to get the discount.
I referred lots of people but I only got 5 vouchers.
This may be because only 5 new customers ended up buying or it may be because you have reached the limit set within the terms and conditions. You can only make a certain number of referrals in a 24 hour period and within a year.
What can I use my reward on?
