Made exclusively from whiskeys distilled and aged in Buffalo Trace Distillery, Last Drop Drew's Kentucky Blend has been created by Sazerac Master Blender Drew Mayville - a founding member of The Last Drop Assembly’s panel of spirits industry experts. This ultra-rare whisky is the result of all the vintage whiskeys that Drew had been saving since joining the Buffalo Trace Distillery; he tasted more than 40 different vintage bourbon and rye whiskeys and this bespoke spirit is a celebration of both vintage straight bourbon and rye whiskeys.
"As a master blender, I wholeheartedly believe that one can take individual components that are already exceptional to create an extraordinarily-beautiful end product,” says Drew. “As with music, a clarinet can be beautiful in its own right. However, when you combine it with other instruments in an orchestra you create a symphony – a masterpiece. Bottled at 121.4 proof, this amber nectar packs a punch. Expect sweet, bruised fruits, figs and sticky raisins infused with warm spice and citrus peel on the palate. From the straight rye comes spice and warmth, that's balanced by the creamy vanilla bourbons.
Only the second signature blend, each bottle is individually numbered and stamped with Drew’s signature.
