Penfolds has launched a new range of wines in partnership with Human Made founder, NIGO, to celebrate the idea of “oneness”. One by Penfolds celebrates what makes us all different and unique, but also the things that bring us together. The collection comes from the three different regions where Penfolds wine is sourced around the world – USA, France and Australia – and these bottles each have their own distinctive animal motif on the label, so they are instantly recognisable. The personality of the wine is unmistakably Penfolds with each of them focusing on medium bodied, vibrant and aromatic characteristics.
This Cabernet, Shiraz, Merlot and Petit Sirah blend is a medium plum, delightfully aromatic wine that presents bright notes of raspberry, cream, lavender, violets, orange blossom and hibiscus. The moreish and succulent palate offers baking spices, with highlights of nutmeg and cinnamon alongside pannacotta creaminess, blackberries and bramble all pulled together with tightly focused tannins. Pair with ribeye fillet, Moroccan lamb or beef brisket for a sumptuous and sizzling meal.
