Pump Street’s cracking Dark Chocolate Chicken is made using single origin craft chocolate, with beans from Bachelor's Hall Estate in Saint Thomas, Jamaica. This rich, dark and intense chocolate has notes of dried fruits, toasted grains and a sweet and silky honeyed rum finish. Also nestled in the box are four dark chocolate foiled eggs, with two made from the same beans in Jamaica and two made from beans grown in Grenada that have a little less intensity. A clucking good treat to devour at Easter. 

Founded in 2010 by father and daughter team, Chris and Joanna Brennan, the journey of Pump Street began in a small market square bakery shop, developing into a further bakery, chocolate factory and chocolate shop all within and around Orford. 

The ethos is making the finest and very best with uncompromising quality. The chocolate is made with just cocoa, cocoa butter and a touch of cane sugar allowing the complexity of the bean to shine through. There is a transparent, ethical and sustainable supply chain with their cocoa farmers and as Pump Street directly trade with them, they are able to ensure the money goes straight to the growers. Along with this the company uses plastic free compostable packaging and continues to look for and evolve to keep up with ever changing practises in sustainability.
