Introducing Sipsmith’s Raffles 1915 Gin. Crafted in collaboration with the iconic Raffles Hotel chain, the gin commemorates one of the world’s great cocktails: the Singapore Sling. A mix of gin, cherry brandy, bitters and fresh pineapple juice (although it changes from recipe to recipe), the cocktail was created by bartender Ngiam Tong Boon at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore in order, so they say, for ladies to drink in public. This gin encapsulates the rich flavours of Singapore, where every sip is a journey through time and taste. Each botanical is carefully selected to evoke the essence of this tropical paradise. What’s more, the founder Sam Galsworthy is a direct descendant of Stamford Raffles, adding a personal touch to this exceptional creation.
On the nose, you are met with fresh notes of baked apple, lemongrass, cardamon and grapefruit. The palate is dry and spicy with piney juniper, sweet lime zest and a nuttiness with a finish of cinnamon, lime zest and black pepper.
