The in-house alterations service at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge offers alterations on any item(s) purchased at our UK stores or online and is available throughout our fashion floors.
Here’s how it works:
1. Pop into Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge store and ask one of our Style Advisors about Harvey Nichols Alterations Service.
2. They will call one of the team down to take a fitting and talk you through the different options, prices and lead times available before providing you with a free quote. You don’t have to make a decision there and then, giving you time to think it over at home before you commit to anything.
3. Once you’ve given us the go ahead, the garment will be whisked away to our in-house tailors. At this point we will provide you with a time and date for collection; the item can also be posted to you if preferred.
4. Once you’re happy, all that’s left is for you to enjoy your new custom-fitted piece.

As every alteration is specific to you, prices are determined on a case by case basis.
Levels 1-3 Rewards members can save up to £35 on in-store alterations, while Level 4 members save up to £65. This offer applies to the total price of one alterations request per transaction and is available only on full-priced items (this excludes items purchased in sale or at a discounted price). Please note, in-store alterations are only available for items purchased at Harvey Nichols UK stores or website. A proof of purchase receipt is required for online orders and those items bought outside our Knightsbridge store.
Our standard lead times for alterations are 7 days for womenswear and 3 to 7 days for menswear exceptions apply during sale times.
For those in need of a quick turnaround, we also offer nominated day, next day and same day express alteration services at an extra £5-15 per garment. Please note, the availability of this service varies depending on the specific item and cannot be agreed upon until the day of the fitting.
To ensure the highest standards of workmanship, no alteration is outsourced and all work is carried out by our in-house tailors at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge.
In the case of specialist materials that we are unable to alter (such as leather, knitted and heavily embellished items), our team can put you in touch with a trusted third-party expert. Please note, Harvey Nichols is not responsible or liable for any work carried out by such a provider.
