Sugrue Zodo is a multi-vintage sparkling wine produced by Dermot Sugrue in Sussex, UK. The ‘zero dosage’ blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir comes principally from the pure chalk soils of the Mount Harry Vineyard with the remaining coming from Storrington Priory. Grapes are hand harvested and gently pressed with fermentation taking place in both Burgundy barrels and stainless-steel tanks. After 4-5 years on lees the bottles are disgorged and topped with a small amount of previous Trouble with Dream vintages.

Aromas of crisp Granny Smith apples and lime juice are offset by the subtle hint of stony minerality leading to a luxurious mouthfeel and some complex notes of truffle and curry leaf. The pure and refined sparkling wine is ready to be drunk now and will elevate a wide range of savoury pairings, whether seafood, fish or meat.

Founded in 2006 by winemaker Dermot Sugrue, and located in the South Downs, Sugrue produces exceptional English sparkling wine with grapes sourced from Storrington Priory, Mount Harry, Coldharbour and most recently Bee Tree Vineyards. Sugrue wines are crafted using traditional methods, with a focus on terroir driven production, highlighting the unique chalky soils of the region. Their flagship wine, Trouble with Dreams, has won multiple awards and consistently receives critical acclaim.
