Simon Rimmer the celebrity chef and star of Something for the Weekend and Sunday Brunch joined the team at Tappers in 2020 and immediately set about creating the ultimate pink gin. Proving himself once again a master of flavour his recipe incorporates hundreds of hand-picked Provence red rose petals and a bouquet of exotic hibiscus flowers. These impart an all-natural rosé colour to Tickled Pink Gin as well as a delicate sweetness and summery floral notes. We recommend sipping this gin topped with premium tonic water and slices of strawberry to garnish.
Tappers is an independent family business who are reviving the art of gin distilling from the seaside home on the Wirral Peninsula not far from Chester and Liverpool. Their craft gins are created in small batches of around 40 to 100 bottles and each one is filled labelled wax sealed and numbered by hand. So this is an artisan spirit in every sense. Tappers use only natural ingredients that are sourced as locally as possible and as of September 2020 their entire range is certified by The Vegan Society.
