Vecchia Romagna is an Italian Brandy with a cult following, and the Riserva 18 year is a step beyond.
The Riserva encompasses all the essential notes of the Vecchia Romagna method. It’s been aged for a minimum of 18 years in French oak barriques and large Slovenian oak casks before being further refined in barrels used to age Amarone della Valpollicalla. This process defines its structure and roundness, adding intense and lasting flavour.
This all works together to make a full flavoured brandy, with candied fruit, cinnamon, pimento and cloves. There are further notes of walnut leaves and dried tobacco as well as coffee and madeira. All in all, this is an incredibly complex and rich brandy.
