Versinthe Absinthe is crafted with extreme skill using twenty different plants including wormwood sage tarragon coriander dill basil rosemary peppermint and verbena. Its delectable bitter complexity and rich greenery are offset by a brushstroke of sweetness across the palate and a fractionally lower alcohol than most absinthe making it wonderful for sipping mixing into cocktails or even adding a little herbal depth in the culinary arts. The label is shaped like an absinthe spoon but the syrupy quality of this particular brew negates the need for the addition of too much additional sugar or water.
