With a design particularly suited to rich and robust reds this pourer utilises the Venturi effect and the science behind Bernoulli’s principle to rapidly aerate your wine speeding up the decanting process. As liquid flows from a wide space to a constricted one it speeds up and causes a change in the pressure. That change in pressure sucks air in through a tiny hole on the side of the aerator mixing it with the wine.
Not only does this nifty and practical design soften harsh tannins and enhance subtle flavours but it also prevents drips and is easily rinsed.
